Cliff and Cris Bisch designed, and then spent two years building, their handcrafted home and guest units with the much appreciated help of family and friends. Le Roost Lorane officially welcomed its first B&B guests June of 2006.

Perhaps you noticed that the Le Roost Lorane B&B rooster wears several hats; which is much like the proprietors. Besides operating Le Roost Lorane full-time, Cliff and Cris own
On Site Group, developing and writing workforce training materials.         Cris & Cliff with daughters Skye (left) & Effie (right)
Cris also works as a free-lance creative consultant and writer.

Cliff and Cris are members of the NW Citroën Owners Club, Slow Travel, Slow Food USA, and the Professional Porch Sitters Union: Lorane Chapter PPS local 97451, where the motto is:

Kittens grow, as we all know, and ours is no exception: twenty-three pounds on four white mittens, oft about on secret missions. With wild green eyes and enormous claws, he lies in wait for intruding dogs. He’s a tiger-striped cat with a sassafras ruff; our “Lion in the Grass” – meet Chester.
